Hydraulic Crane for Disaster Relief and Community Services

The hydraulic crane integrated into the ISUZU FTS for the Royal Thai Army plays a crucial role in efficiently transferring shell crates between military trucks on a regular basis. Nonetheless, its importance extends beyond routine tasks to include natural disaster response and community services.

During disaster reliefs, the hydraulic crane facilitates various tasks such as deploying rubber boats for evacuating civilians, placing sandbags to control floodwaters, and distributing essential supplies to affected areas. Additionally, it can lift heavy equipment to aid in flood mitigation efforts.

In community services, the hydraulic crane can be fitted with a personnel basket, allowing personnel to access elevated areas for tasks such as tree branch cutting, building painting, and changing light bulbs on electrical posts, among others. The Royal Thai Army frequently engages in volunteer activities, using this equipment to assist with various community services.

The versatility of the hydraulic crane enables the Royal Thai Army to support units not only in combat scenarios but also in non-combat missions.
